06/30 NOTICE: AUS based customers- We have been notified by our shipping company that there is an ongoing 2-3 week delay in the delivery chain on all orders going to Austrailia. Please be aware this is showing a long stretch between scans but reach out to us if your scan delay exceeds this timing. Thank you!

✦ IMPORTANT SHIPPING UPDATES:

Due to unexpected printer issues (with both our main printer and backup) we have been unable to print edges on our pending orders.

We are in the process of repairing our edge printers (both the primary and backup). This is a slow process for a few reasons, one being we are based in Canada and the technicians assisting us are based in China. These are custom built printers which only complicates the matter of repairs. With different time zones and other barriers this is a difficult line of communication to work through for information and assistance but we are working long hours daily as hard as we can to get our printers up and running again.

At this time, we have no specific timeline on when the repairs will be completed so we are unable offer any updated shipping estimates for current open orders that require edges. As more information and progress becomes available we will be updating our Shipping Updates page on our website with everything we can offer.

We understand how disappointing this situation is for everyone but we greatly appreciate the patience and understanding we have been given so far as we work to get things up and running as fast as we can.

Until the outstanding orders with custom printed edges are caught up we will not be having any additional side sales. Our monthly/quarterly subscriptions and renewals will continue as normal due to commitments with publishers, artists and authors. Customers can email us to skip their upcoming renewals without the skip counting towards the usual number available per sub.

Book stock of the following, currently delayed, titles are IN HOUSE and only pending printing once our machines are fixed:

✦ My tracking hasn't updated...

Tracking scans may vary based on location, postal delays and more.

All of our packages are picked up in bulk and sorted by a facility here in Canada that then hands them off to final mile carriers (such as USPS, PostNL, etc.) There may not be additional scans in the first few days while they are sorted out.

If you haven't received a scan in more than 5 business days please use the contact form on our website to reach out so that we can look in to it further for you!

✦ This page says my book has shipped but I didn't receive tracking?

If the Shipping Updates page says that the title you're waiting for is shipped, please check your account profile by signing in on our website and locating the order.

If the order says fulfilled you should be able to find the tracking information in your order. There will also be an automated email that will have been sent out with the same tracking information the day it was shipped.

If you are unable to find either of these things please reach out to us for assistance.

✦ My address has changed, can you update it?

If your address has changed and your order is unfulfilled please contact us via our website's contact form with your order number and new address and we will happily update that for you! - If your order has already shipped out we will be unable to update the address as it is no longer in our shop to adjust.

PLEASE NOTE: Updating the address on your profile on our website DOES NOT update the address on older orders. This has to be manually done by our customer service so PLEASE email us to update it!

Dazzling Bookish Shop is not liable for any fees accumulated due to customs, duties, VAT, etc.

Packages are declared at their USD listed sale price for insurance purposes and can not be undervalued.

IMPORTANT EU SHIPPING UPDATE

Due to the GPSR implemented for Europe we will no longer be able to ship to any countries in this area- effective 12/13/24.

✦ What countries does this affect?

Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland (including North Ireland), Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland.

✦ What about my open orders/subscriptions?

All unfulfilled orders and subscriptions to customers in the countries listed above, that arent being shipped prior to 12/13/24, will be cancelled and fully refunded.

A way around this would be to update the address on your order to a friend/forwarding service/etc not based in the EU. We can ship it to them and they can get it to you as a gift. (More information on this below)

✦ Can I send to a different address?

The GPSR guidelines and new requirements are only for businesses shipping products (per our current knowledge).

If you would like to update the address on your order to ship to a friend or forwarding service please use our contact form to do so. We will be able send your unfulfilled orders and future orders to any address outside of the EU.

✦ Please NoteShould your package be lost in transit or damaged in transit from your 3rd party to you, Dazzling will not be able to assist in locating it, filing claims or offering replacements/refunds. We will only be able to help in the shipping from our shop to your 3rd party.

✦ ✦ Any future orders MUST be placed on your own account using whatever address you set up outside of the EU. If you use a friend who is also a Dazzling customer we still maintain the "one book/set per customer" rule. Any duplicate orders under a single account will be cancelled.

(Dazzling can not provide proxy service information. Every company offers different services for different rates and will need to be researched by the individual customer)
